Going through Walt Knapp's SASS B mod instructions, I noticed the comparison recordings he provides of insects for the stock MKII with PZM mics and his mod. I thought it would be useful to revisit this as a blind test in light of discussions Paul Jacobson and I are having about the lower HF response of flush mounted omni mics like the AT4022's that are designed for use in free air.
